German renewable energy firm PNE AG said today that its Cuxhaven-based services unit Energy consult GmbH is growing its international operations and is now active in five European countries.

Since the start of the year, Energy consult has been managing wind turbines with a total capacity of 44.4 MW in France and Sweden, and will also take over the operational management for 52 MW in Poland at the end of 2019. Moreover, in 2020 it will assume responsibility for a further 138.6 MW in Sweden.

The firm already manages 122 MW of wind farms in Italy as well, and is negotiating contracts for the operational management of transformer stations in Poland.

PNE said that its unit plans to concentrate on the foreign markets of Sweden, Poland and France.
