Awarded sole supplier status with the responsibility of all manufacturing surveillance across the UK and Europe (Germany, Poland, Norway, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Netherlands, and Spain covering all onshore fabrication/manufacturing packages to include WTG Foundations, Transition Pieces, Onshore Substation, Offshore Substation Platform, Inter Array and Export Cable, Blade Manufacturing and WTG Pre-Assembly supported by Welding, Coating, Mechanical and Electrical surveillance.

We were the sole supplier responsible for the direct mobilisation of multi-disciplined inspectors across the UK and Europe (Germany, Poland,  Norway, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Netherlands and Spain)

Locations: Germany, Bremerhaven & Ria Blades, Spain – Blade production

  • Carry out inspection and surveillance activities during fabrication activities and participation in factory acceptance tests at the manufacturer and/or his suppliers according to inspection and test plan for GRP/GFK

Lot 1.4 – Electrical, LV, MV, HV and SCADA

Locations: Europe – WTG Foundation, Offshore Substation and WTG

  • Cable Supplier: Siemens Offshore, JDR and Telefonica – UK & Europe
  • 3 x 240 mm2 18/30(36) kV Aluminium Conductor + 20 x 9/125 μm Single Mode & 4 x 50/125 μm Multi Mode Optical Fibre
  • Surveillance activities and participation in factory acceptance tests or other tests at the manufacturer according to inspection and test plan for Electrical
  • High Voltage, Medium voltage/low voltage, SCADA Spot checks, or, if necessary permanent surveillance

Lot 1.5 – Mechanical Components

WTG Foundation: Supplier: Ambau GmBH

  • Surveillance activities and participation in factory acceptance tests or other tests, where necessary, at the manufacturer and/or his suppliers according to inspection and test plan for Mechanical Components & Equipment

Lot 2 – Preassembly

  • Surveillance activities and participation in inspections and commissioning tests at the preassembly site of manufacturers of components and their suppliers according to inspection and test plans.
