Bureau Technical Services, a leading provider of technical services to the global energy sector, is delighted to announce certification from Carbon Neutral Britain ™, which supported measuring and offsetting their total emissions to become a carbon-neutral business.

In the UK, businesses account for over 85% of total Green House Gas (GHG) emissions – making corporate action the number one priority in helping stop climate change.

Carbon Neutral Britain ™ is the UK’s leading carbon offsetting initiative – allowing

businesses to offset their environmental impact. They calculate the carbon footprint of companies and offset it by supporting certified projects worldwide to reverse tCO2e emissions. Their projects have already offset over 500,000 Tonnes of CO2e and planted over 3 million Trees, helping stop climate change and providing essential forest habitats for endangered wildlife.

The team from Carbon Neutral Britain ™ worked with the Bureau Technical Services to measure and calculate emissions covering mains gas usage, vehicles and mileage, electricity consumption, water usage and waste to calculate their total carbon footprint.

Through the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund ™, Bureau Technical Services Limited has now offset its total carbon emissions through internationally certified carbon offsetting projects. The business certification will directly support the Carbon Neutral Woodland Fund ™, which supports Reforestation and Deforestation to impact local wildlife, ecology, and biodiversity positively.
