Project Description

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C (HPC) in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy. Since 2017, Bureau Technical Services have supported 9 Tier 1 contractors at HPC and many, many more in the supply chain below them.

Key projects have included; Tunnel Boring Machine Construction, Marine Tunneling works, Nuclear Island Preparation, Offshore Sea Fastening Loadout, Reactor 1 base preparation.
