EDT Offshore, a Cyprus based provider of offshore support vessels to the oil and gas industry worldwide, has expanded its fleet with a new vessel.

The company last week announced it bought the EDT Kennedy, a Platform Supply Vessel, currently under construction at the Fujian Southeast Shipyard in China.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery December 2013, when it will begin a long term charter with Noble Mediterranean.
