London-listed North American Petroleum has gained a 30% interest in the producing Zink Ranch project in Oklahoma.

North American revealed its farm-in to the 1520 gross acre project in Osage County on Friday which includes 15 vertical wells producing from the Skinner formation.

It added that production from the Zink Ranch project, which is majority owned by Northcote Energy, currently averages about 18 barrels of oil and 60,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

North American is earning its stake for a consideration of $600,000, with $300,000 to be paid in cash and the remainder through funding Northcote’s share of costs of various projects within the work-programme.
