Project Description

We have been involved from the outset of this project covering supplier capability audits and are currently providing QA/QC support and Quality Engineer manpower on multiple packages across the UK, Europe, and Indonesia.

Monopile Fabrication – EEW Germany

  • Scope of responsibilities is overseeing EEW during the fabrication of the Monopiles and working with the EPCI contractor to ensure quality, monitoring conformance, expediting the manufacturing schedule and daily, weekly reporting of progress and quality.

HVDC Platform – Sembcorp Marine Ltd.’s yard in Batam, Indonesia.

  • Scope of responsibilities is overseeing the Fabrication of the HVDC Offshore Platform and sub-structure quality, monitoring conformance and expediting the progress of the works and reporting upon it.
  • Write surveillance plans and other QA documentation to implement a fit-for-purpose quality management system.

Civil Package

  • Coordinating access for the Civil works, DC Export Cable, cable supplier and installer, for trenching, ducting, tunnelling, cable pull, reinstatement activities
  • Provision of Engineer for the fabrication of concrete Main Access Platforms

Export and Inter Array Cables – Finland / Greece / South Korea

Surveillance includes witnessing and reporting on cable testing activities, and conducting surveillance of the cable’s manufactures including:

  • Prysmian’s Pikkala factory for the manufacture of Sofia’s 320kV HVDC offshore export cable.
  • Hellenic Cables inter-array cables 360km of 66kV and accessories to the 1400MW

Concrete Platform Package – Poland

  • Conducting surveillance and inspections in accordance with notifications aagainst contractual requirements, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), drawings, protocols and procedures.
  • Checking the jig/ moulds and containment.
  • Checking the certifications regarding element mixes. LASTM test, chemical analysis, grain size analysis.
  • Witness pours.
  • Monitoring atmospheric conditions during pouring operations, witness slump tests.

Ad-Hoc Inspections

  • Covering multiple FAT / NFI’s on various Mechanical and Electrical equipment such as: Cabinets, Panels, OCS / OCP battery and chargers, Transformers, SCADA, Davit Cranes and safety and monitoring devices
